Refund policy

Last updated 11 August 2026

Draft for review. The refund percentages and windows below are placeholders taken from the strategy notes. Confirm the real figures with WorkinEU HR management and legal counsel before publishing.

1. The principle

Money we have not yet spent on your behalf comes back to you. Money already paid to a government body, embassy, medical centre or translator cannot come back, because we cannot recover it either. Every such cost is itemised for you in writing before it is incurred.

2. Two kinds of money

TypeExamplesRefundable?
Our service chargeThe recruitment and processing fee payable to WorkinEU HRYes, per the schedule in section 3
Third-party costsEmbassy and VFS fees, work permit fees, medical examination, police clearance, translation, attestation, courierNo, once paid to that third party

3. What applies in each situation

Visa rejected by the embassy

Your service charge is refunded in full, minus third-party costs already incurred. Where a reapplication is possible and you choose it, we carry your balance forward to that reapplication instead and charge no second service fee.

Employer withdraws the vacancy or cancels before deployment

Full refund of the service charge. You may instead ask to be transferred to another suitable vacancy at no additional service charge.

Work permit refused by the ministry

Treated the same as a visa rejection: service charge refunded, third-party costs not.

You withdraw

  • Before employer interview — full refund of the service charge.
  • After selection, before permit filing — partial refund; the proportion is stated in your signed service agreement.
  • After permit filing or visa submission — the service charge is not refundable, as the work is substantially performed and the costs are committed.

Application ended for document fraud or misrepresentation

No refund. See clause 3 of the terms and conditions.

You leave the job after arriving

No refund of the service charge, as the placement was delivered. If your actual working conditions differ materially from your signed contract, tell us immediately — that is a contract dispute we will raise with the employer, not a refund matter.

4. How to request a refund

  1. Email workineuhr@gmail.com with your full name, the vacancy you applied for and the reason.
  2. We acknowledge within 3 working days and confirm the refundable amount with an itemised breakdown of third-party costs deducted.
  3. Once you approve the breakdown, payment is issued within 30 working days to the account the original payment came from.

Refunds are paid in the currency received. Bank charges and exchange-rate movement between payment and refund are not reimbursed.

5. If you disagree with the calculation

Reply to the breakdown within 14 days and it will be reviewed by a manager who was not involved in your case. If you are still not satisfied, you retain every right available to you under UAE law and under the law of your country of residence.
